I am a doctoral student in Education Policy and Evaluation at the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Arizona State University. I am deeply interested in systems and the theoretical grounding to creating robust systems at micro and macro levels in any area and formally, in higher education.
My days as an undergraduate student in Hindu College (best remembered by alumni for the giving students space to be themselves while demanding and ensuring excellence) were about studying literature (most) mornings and debating every single afternoon. As a result, I have been (and still remain) an errant lover of literature and a firm believer of debating as a fundamental life-skill. To build more such spaces would be the best tribute to my alma-mater and that is where I hope I am headed.
Like every Indian, I am interested in politics and can at least tolerate cricket. I am always happy to learn something I don’t know and prefer text over the motion picture.
This blog is like a journal – some private musings, some things that may interest a casual reader, hopefully some insights on something useful someday.
